our story
Located in Godley, TX, Chisholms Restaurant has been serving homemade American cuisine for the past 19 years.
Nearly 20 years ago, Jeff and Pam Bachhofer were in the retail grocery business and wanted to do more. They wanted to offer “Feel Good” comfort cuisine that you would want to see in your home. With a focus on homemade recipes using quality ingredients at great prices, they have been proudly serving Godley ever since. Chisholms has become a pillar in the Godley community with consistent outreach, partnering with the Godley schools , and hosting several local groups in their wonderful meeting space. Their large menu, fresh pies, seasonal specialties, amazing buffets, and a focus on service and hospitality are what has defined Chisholms. We hope you get a chance to experience this local favorite and learn why Godley residents never travel far for great food.

The food was amazing! Plenty of seating for large or small families... we will definitely be going back! We came back and had a Girls Breakfast... outstanding! We enjoyed the food and each other's company. This time I remember to take pictures of our food. Western omelet,Breakfast burrito (x3) 2 with bacon one with sausage all with added hashbrowns, avacado toast, eggs and bacon and a Breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. Also, can't forget the delicious waffle that girls had to get to share.

Amazing in every way! Homemade goodness. Like a step back in time to when food was made with love and was delicious ... and people were friendly. Homemade desserts and ice cream! Best $15 you will spend this week. Check out their Facebook page and live videos. They have buffet hours and regular menu available all day. The sweet tea is perfect.

This is the best restaurant we've been to in a long time! The staff is great. The good is AMAZING! And the atmosphere has that hometown feel that makes your meal even more enjoyable. We went to the breakfast buffet on a Saturday and the variety they offer is spectacular. I cannot rave about this hidden gem in Texas enough!
